PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING
I have been working as a Professional Counselor since 2010. With the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, my focus is to help people of all ages to identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and discouragement.
With hundreds of hours in Play Therapy training, I specialize in helping children and adolescents to reduce their severity levels of anxiety symptoms, depressive symptoms, ADHD problems, low self-esteem issues, behavioral problems, trauma, grief and loss, and offer parenting support and enrichment.
No matter what age, I use various types of therapy that benefit the needs of each client.

Play Therapy
Life throws many surprises at us no matter what age, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. Having raised my own children, I know what it is like to experience the many concerns related to being a parent. I like to help equip children by providing a safe environment for them to express their thoughts and emotions and explore positive life skills and behaviors that promote positive change in their lives. I am a Registered Play Therapist and have hundreds of hours of training in Play Therapy.
I provide treatment to children ages 4 years old and up for the following:
Anxiety/Stress, ADHD, Separation Anxiety, Test/Performance Anxiety, Behavior Problems, Anger Problems,
Depression, Character Building (Anti-bully Proofing), Social Skills, Peer Relationship Problems, School Problems, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, Self Esteem Issues, Grief and Loss, Anger issues, Parenting Support, Blended Family Issues, Conflict Resolution.
ADOLESCENT COUNSELING

Adolescence is a difficult chapter of life for some. Wanting to feel a sense of belonging, having good social interactions and friendships, and feeling good about self are important keys to a happier and healthier life. Offering support, a non-judgmental atmosphere, coping skills, and techniques are what I like to equip adolescents with through this challenging stage of life.
